The left foot has been repainted based on the tones of its original flesh, although slightly lighter as a distinguishing feature. This repainting is justified considering that it is a newly made foot, created in 2019. The flesh tones used at the time were brown and tan, similar to the polychromy of the Christ figure, with dirt and oxidized varnishes, and had not been cleaned.<\/p>\n
The arms, which had lost their functionality and required external supports to keep them fixed and prevent them from falling, have been replaced. The new articulated arms are made of sapele wood, with a ball and spring mechanism.<\/p>\n
