“It is a great privilege to be able to work with my feelings (and also outside of them) through sculpture” – Louise Bourgeois.
Although constantly evolving, my stylistic inclinations are clear, inspired by the masters Pedro Roldán, Luisa Ignacia Roldán, and José de Arce. I fuse these influences with my own naturalistic style, forged alongside my teacher Antonio José Martínez.
I am adaptable to the client’s preferences without abandoning my references. My works focus on biblical and Gospel passages, seeking to capture a feeling of piety and anointing with profound symbolism and theological significance. My creations are true visual catechesis.
As a conservator and restorer of cultural assets, specializing in wood sculpture, I offer rigorous and scientific restoration. My approach is based on scientific and respectful methods of the original work, differentiating myself from previous interventions that have been harmful.
I show you, below, my three latest works.
I don’t just work independently; I also collaborate with other image makers and restorers. You can see my latest collaborations here.
